ABOUT THE ALBUMS AND ARTISTS:

~SOUL CUSTODY VOL. 1 by Soul Custody~

SOUL CUSTODY VOL.1 is a collaborative album featuring some of the most exciting artists to recently emerge from the Toronto music scene. As a group of eclectic artists, Soul Custody creates fresh and provocative music by bringing together the sounds of hip hop, future funk, neo-soul, and more. Consisting of the fearless duo known as Modern Artifacts – vocalist Lady Shabazz and producer Unlimited – alongside seasoned rapper Apollo Creed, Soul Custody’s three founders blend their sounds and bend the barriers of urban music. The group’s collaborative style has included work with producers Sunclef, Fresh Kils, and Bagir-Ba, as well as vocalist Sabryn Rock. The collective’s first release, Soul Custody Vol. 1, is available June 29th, both digitally on iTunes and Bandcamp (soulcustody.bandcamp.com), and on CD through Bandcamp as well as at select local record stores. ~3 EYED ZEBRAHZ by Gripski~

3 EYED ZEBRAHZ is a collection of original beats/remixes/tracks I put together, trying to capture that “ZEBRAH” vibe. This is not a rap tape, nor a break tape – this is a hip hop tape from the “ZEBRAH” perspective.
Featuring some influences on the west coast who were kind enough to grace the spool include, MYKAH NINE, 2MEX, ELLAY KHULE, PTERRADACTO, NGAFSH, RIDDLORE? As well as AZ’s own AFLEX.
I put out this album solely on tape (with a DL link). To understand why, check the video below called ‘Real G’s Rock Tapes’ (haha)
3 EYED ZEBRAHZ is for us, our influences and our community.

Sup Yall. The weekend could not, and therefore did not, stop. The bottle to the top, to the rock, and back to the bottle rock. It happened as it was meant to be. Peace and respect to all those who showed love. This blog is to continue on as we do not stop here, but instead prepare for the next chapter of expression. Stay up, and catch us on the flipside.

AZ crew to you…props, shots, and hip hop flip flops.
